Case study: Aberdeen City Council
Aberdeen City Council commissioned Research and Marketing plus to conduct research into the opinions of all those affected by the Antisocial Behaviour within the Aberdeen area.
The Aberdeen City Council works closely with its partners on the Aberdeen Community Safety Partnership (a partnership of agencies - Council, police, victim support, etc) working to make Aberdeen a safer place to live, work and visit.

Their intention was to conduct research among the local residents to investigate the perceptions from local residents towards the antisocial behaviour within the Aberdeen area. This form of research was set in line with the conditions set by the Scottish Executive and other councils over the UK.
It is felt that plans for tackling antisocial behaviour needed to be addressed.
As a result of the research we were able to evaluate strategies into tackling the antisocial behaviour within the areas of Community Wardens and Non-Community Wardens in Aberdeen.
Telephone Research
This was used to obtain the views of the local residents in Aberdeen. The area was divided into two zones; Community Wardens and Non-Community Wardens neighbourhoods and a representative sample of 2,450 interviews were conducted. Data was analysed both overall and by zone to establish if there was a geographical effect.
Completed in 4 days.
