Chris joined R&M in November 1989
Background
Chris has been working with information systems for over 15 years. Before joining Research and Marketing he worked with the Wales Tourist Board (now Visit Wales) and gained valuable experience on large mainframe systems and networks.
Specialisms
Data Reporting : Using Crystal Reports, Alpha Reports and SPSS.
Printing : Manipulation and merging of live data for the creation of bespoke documents (paper based and digital PDF's). Chris works directly with our production level high speed mono lasers and envelope addressing systems.
Database Creation : Desktop and web based database design. Chris has recently worked on a variety of projects, including membership schemes, magazine subscriptions, data capture systems that pooled data from emails, OCR/OMR scanning and manual entry.
Format conversion, data file merging, data cleansing (using PAF systems).
Hardware Infrastructure : Network administration, hardware installation and maintenance
Personality
Considering his aptitude with all types of technology its ironic that Chris is proud to be a card carrying tree hugger. In his spare time if he hasn't got a fishing rod in his hand he's even been known to do a bit of bird spotting!
