Background
Full Member of the Market Research Society, Managing Director Mrs Sheila Jones is a founder director of Research and Marketing Ltd. After an earlier career in the Post Office and the Inland Revenue she was founder member of the company when it was formed in 1968. Her post on leaving the Inland Revenue was that of assistant to the head of the personnel and internal administration department, HM Inspector of Taxes, Cardiff.
For many years she has been Company Secretary as well as having overall responsibility for the Data Processing and Direct Marketing departments of the company. She has wide experience of the administration of large scale research projects for both the public sector and commerce. She was responsible to the Welsh Office for the quality conduct of the 1992 Social Survey in Wales -a particularly high grade survey.
Specialisms
Present responsibilities, apart from the legal ones required of a Managing Director and Company Secretary, are those of overall regard for the total quality standard of work produced in any of the three company Departments of Market Research, Data Processing and Direct Mail, and in addition to ensure that industry standard rules and regulations are met and obeyed in all three.
